Hello All!
To those of you who are new here, let me be the first to say “Welcome to Coppershell Bay! See the sights, enjoy the fishing, relax in the glade and try your luck racing against some insects!”
If you’re returning, well you’ll know as well as I do that there is no time for pleasantries, fetch your gloves and spade, there is work to be done!
This is the second edition of my favourite game in a tin, and there are quite a few changes that the observant will notice!

CLOCKS AT THE MARKET
Firstly, you will see that the shelves in The Market are slightly more bare this time around. They have sold out of clocks! If you want a clock now, you will need to Acquire one or Craft it! The strange time dilation effects plaguing Coppershell Bay now seem to have passed, which is a blessed relief if you ask me.
Selling to the market is also a little more unpredictable now, using the very moreish Loot ability rather than providing a static amount of Gems.

FISHING BENEFITS
People who like to fish or forage will be delighted to know that flipping the Coppersand and Burrow Glade locations is now slightly less likely to happen during the day, and when it does you will get a one off payout, so feel free to push your luck! Likewise flipping Bay Carnival will cause you to win a prize! How exciting!

BRABBEN AND HER MIGRAINES
Brabben Hegnull can no longer reroll rerolls to get a reroll of a reroll, which is much nicer for her as the poor woman was suffering from headaches from all the recursion. Now she can just enjoy using brews as intended (responsibly).
And speaking of brews, they all now have names! As do the tools. It’s a minor change, however it lets us refer to them explicitly in any future content we may create…

TAX & SCRAP
For the scrappers among you, scrap tax is now a little less costly, and there has been a bit of rebalancing on the crafting side of things, making the lesser used tools more enticing to craft, and making gaining XP a little easier too.
Taxes in Coppershell Bay have been lowered too, in the face of criticism from the militant dung shovellers' union. This allows an honest scrapper to dig to the bottom of the deck without undue levy.

TIME TRAPS & SHORTCUTS
Quests have had a bit of an overhaul too: they now cost time to embark upon, and you will encounter more Time tests whilst inside them. However, you will also encounter more shortcuts and more rewards along the way! Scronth Boydell, for example, has remembered his pocket watch this time, and the Treasure! at the end of the Flooded Vault is bursting with loot… and fish? It's a veritable adventurer's pinata.
A WELL EARNED REST
Sleeping and eating at home is more rewarding too (as it should be, who wants to be inside a dark cave when they could be at home in bed), so get back home each night for some well deserved rest and relaxation (or maggot farming, if you can’t sleep).
There are more changes too… however perhaps you should find them for yourself?

The hope with this edition is that it makes all strategies more viable, and encourages a deeper exploration of the array of mechanisms on offer.
If you are the owner of a first edition, however, do not despair! A free upgrade pack will be included alongside an upcoming expansion, which will bring everyone back up to the same version.
That's enough of that… I thought I heard Crows overhead, no time to waste!
